As Indiana’s Poet Laureate (2012-2014), I traveled around the state to high schools to increase participation in the Poetry Out Loud recitation program, curated a poem-a-day feature with poets from around the state during National Poetry Month (2012 and 2013) for Indiana Humanities, wrote the blog No More Corn on poets such as Mari Evans, Etheridge Knight, Jared Carter and Ruth Stone, and put on a series of readings called The Borderlands Project, which brought together poets from Indiana and neighboring states on themes of home, borders, migration, and immigration.
Very good info. Lucky me I came across your blog
by chance (stumbleupon). I’ve book-marked it for later!
It’s remarkable to pay a quick visit this web page and reading
the views of all friends on the topic of this post, while
I am also keen of getting knowledge.
